The 2011 Lance 2281 is a light yet roomy travel trailer, perfect for the small family. Lance designed its trailers to be able to be towed by a midsize SUV or full-size pickup and great for campgrounds or boondocking.
This Lance 2281 was purchased by the seller in late 2020 and was refurbished through 2021 and on. To set up the Lance for off-grid camping, the seller installed a large solar charging system and high-capacity batteries. The battery converter was replaced at this time as well.
The interior was also remodeled in 2020, with the kitchen countertop being replaced and extended all the way into the corner of the room. As a result, the original sofa bed was replaced with a shorter, non-sleeper loveseat. The dinette converts into a bed, making this now a rig that sleeps up to 4.
A single television is included with this RV but with two different possible mounting locations for it.
The seller reports that this Lance is in overall very good condition. Two of the tires were replaced approximately 18 months ago and the others are about 4 years old.
This unit has been refurbished and remodeled starting in the fall of 2020. As a result, many elements are in above-average condition for the age of the trailer.
