I was born in the Midwest and moved to Arizona in 1966. Having lived in various places throughout the state, settled in Chino Valley in 1997. My wife (Jo) and I have been married since 1984 and are proud parents of two adult sons and one still at home. We are blessed with two wonderful daughters-in-law and three grandsons.
Professionally, I've been an Army Officer, non-profit leader, franchise support manager, and healthcare administrator. The one common thread throughout my career is I've always helped people.
I've owned several RV's since 1996 and have learned a lot. We currently own a Keystone Cougar 5th wheel after selling our smaller toy hauler (our toys were and are kayaks and bicycles).
I like tinkering on my RVs to make them more usable. I've added batteries, solar prepped the toy hauler, replaced lighting, added cargo doors for better access, repaired and/or replaced flooring, added USB charge ports, and other fun stuff.
Our first larger RV was an older Class A that I essentially rebuilt to learn about them before buying a newer, more expensive unit.
