As I boy, I grew up on the beautiful West Coast of British Columbia, Canada, Horseshoe Bay to be specific. A natural Bay surrounded by towering walls of granite and miles upon miles of some of the most unspoiled coastal beauty on earth. My first job, at the age of 12 was deck hand at Sewell's Marina during the busy summer months of the little Bay town, cleaning out 6'-16' skiffs and pumping fuel into some of the most incredible boats one could ever imagine, some of which, I'm sure, are still around today. It was, simply put, the rarest of opportunities to discover the wonders of Pacific Coast Boating culture. I soaked it in like a sponge in those early days and have built on that foundation for the last 50.
I have been involved with sales for the better part of my life. Retail, wholesale, finance in many different areas and achieved the highest levels of success in almost all. Developed and built a small commodities trading firm worth millions of dollars and today I own a small wholesale snack food company that sells to some of the most gourmet grocers in the state.
Now that I have achieved the things I desired most in my career I can finally settle down and concentrate on the things I find closest to my heart, boats and boating.
