This EXCEL 35MKO limited is owned by a couple that really takes care of it.
In recent months the owners have removed all the original graphics and installed discreet graphics which give the EXCEL a very modern look.
No worries about the "rubber roof" installed on most RVs. This EXCEL has a full fiberglass roof and has not and does not ever leak.
New 500W Solar panels are roof-mounted, and with the onboard inverter, do a fine job of operating lights and other convenience appliances.
The front storage compartment is pre-wired and has ample space for installing a fairly large generator if desired.
New larger-size storage tanks were custom manufactured and installed about a year ago.
Inside, you'll notice how bright and fresh the interior is. The owners repainted the interior with the help of a professional contractor. It looks terrific!
In the front located master bedroom is ample storage, large cedar lined closet with a courtesy light. The toilet closet is separate from the large shower. Nearby you'll find another closet which is plumbed and wired for a Washer/Dryer....stackable Washer/Dryer combos are available in a variety of capacities.
The roof mount 13,500 and 15,000 BTU air conditioner units are about 2 years old and operate as they should.
All new flooring has been installed throughout and looks terrific.
Overall, this EXCEL 35MKO has a great feel......lots of windows and lighting, and the location of the slides give this 5th wheel an expansive feel. The living area ceiling height is a generous 7'6" high so you never feel "enclosed" or cramped. The living area has a great and welcoming feel.
The bedroom ceiling height is quite tall at over 6'.
I found this 2008 EXCEL to be in great condition with many recent upgrades and improvements.
Within the past 2 years, the owners installed all new FRESH-GREY-BLACK holding tanks which each have a 75-gallon capacity. All the tank plumbing and connections were replaced.
Also, there is a new water pump, a FORD-CHEV trailer connection adapter, a new ANDERSON bed mounted 5th wheel hitch (+- $1000 new), a 500-watt solar system, and 2000 Watt inverter, etc.
The owner also installed a brand new 17' electric-operated awning and installed all new on the exterior.
Other improvements include new house batteries as well as a brand new queen-size mattress in the master bedroom.
