Frequently Asked Questions About the Selling ProcessFAQ About Selling
1.
1. How much does it all cost?
We charge 10% to sell your RV (for smaller units, there is a $2,750 minimum). But we only charge a commission if we actually sell your RV. If we can't find a buyer, we don't make a dime. If we do our job, find a buyer, and help facilitate a safe and secure transaction, we get paid our commission.
We are also expert negotiators. Where you may be tempted to accept a low first offer, we're very good at bringing in quality offers and handling the negotiating and counter-offer phase of the transaction. We more than make up for our commission by negotiating on your behalf to get you the right price.

2. Can I still try to sell on my own?
Absolutely! We only receive a commission if WE sell your RV. If you sell your rig to a buyer you found, we don't receive a dime. We're just extra help for you to find a buyer and get your unit sold. It's a no-brainer.
3.
3. What if my RV has a lien?
Very common. Most of the RVs we sell have a lien. We use the buyer's funds to pay off your lienholder. If there is a balance, it will be sent to you directly. If there is a shortage, you will have to send your lienholder the additional funds prior to closing.
4.
4. Do I have to sign a contract?
Yes, we can only move forward if you sign our marketing agreement. It lays out our duties (to do our best to sell your RV) and your responsibilities (to keep us updated on changes to the mileage and to try to be available at reasonable times for any requested showings).
There is no cost for our service, ever. Our commission comes out of the final purchase price, before the balance is transferred to you.

6. How much does this cost again?
Zero. We only receive a commission if we actually sell your RV. We're willing to put the work in upfront because we know we're that good at our jobs and we can sell your RV.
7.
7. How long has Pop RVs been around?
Not long - we started selling RVs in October 2015. But we know brokerage. And we know the internet. We have a set of technology and processes that are finely tuned for selling. If we can't sell your RV, you've lost nothing.
8.
8. Can I also place my RV on a dealer lot?
No. While working with us, you can sell on your own but you cannot list or advertise your RV with another dealer or brokerage. This is because buyers can get easily confused when they find the same rig for sale at multiple places, especially if the price or details are slightly different.
But why would you park your RV on a lot? You own it, you should use it! That's precisely the advantage of using a broker to sell your RV!

9. Would someone in another state or country ever buy my RV?
Of course. RVs are incredibly easy and cheap to move. The internet gives buyers the ability to shop the entire country in order to find the perfect RV for their family.
