1987 Prevost 40XL converted by American Coach in Allen, MI. This coach was originally converted for one of the owners of Prevost, Mr. Tom Harbison, by American Coach. This 1987 Prevost luxury coach represents their standard emphasis on the best quality of construction and design with their coaches.
The exterior is well built and minimal maintenance with the stainless steel siding.
Well insulated undercarriage for thermal protection and a quiet ride minimizing exterior road noise.
The interior is well laid out and functional for a coach that does not have any slides.
The forward living area has overhead cabin touring windows to see high mountains and overhead scenery when traveling and perfect star gazing when at your favorite campsite.
The kitchen has solid surface countertops throughout and stove top and microwave appliances that are incorporated in the millwork and out of the way.
There is a spacious bathroom with full height closets and doors to close to create privacy. One of the closets is pre-plumbed to receive a washer/dryer combo.
The rear of the coach has a large walk around bed with plenty of storage.
Along with the newer flat screen TV you can spend more time watching TV and enjoying the great outdoors and spend less time pointing your antenna as the coach includes a Winegard the Rayzar fully automatic amplified digital HDTV antenna that was installed in 2018.
All water lines are hard piped copper throughout the coach.
There is a dedicated thermostat controlled heater inside the undercarriage tank compartment when traveling in sub-zero temperatures.
Solar panels for battery charging.
Two new roof mounted Dometic Penguin low profile heat pumps 15000 BTU (model 51816). These heat pumps also put out heat in the winter. The roof A/C units were installed 11/2017.
In addition to factory bus air and heat, the RV has redundant systems including secondary electric heating system and Webasto diesel fired system. There is also a secondary A/C unit with a compressor above the refrigerator.
Passenger side windshield has a crack.
Seller reports the fresh/potable water tank measures 36x36x25 (approx. 140 gal), and the black water/holding tank measures 80x18x25 (approx. 155 gal).
All reasonable offers will be reviewed and presented to the seller.
My offer is contingent upon being fully satisfied with unit after personal inspection and/or professional inspection.
