2007 Winnebago Tour 40KD powered by the Cummins ISL 8.9L Turbo-charged Diesel engine delivering 400 hp built on the Freightliner chassis. It has the Allison 3000 MH 6-speed electronic transmission, NeWay front & rear air suspension, 4-wheel ABS, and engine compression brake for a great ride and safety on the road.
There is lots of storage space in the bays below, plus this unit has the TrueAir Residential Central AC System with heat pump and two separate furnaces - a total of 65K BTUs!
The unit has auto-leveling and is loaded with more features that make hitting the road easy and enjoyable.
The interior of the unit needs some cosmetic work done - a previous owner (not the current owner) was caught carrying drugs, and the unit was impounded by the police and thoroughly searched - as a result, there are tears in the headliner in several places, and the wall decorative tiles were removed in several places.
All of the systems are in good working order and function as they should - it just needs someone with the ability and time to update it to have a wonderful RV on the road or as a second home or office on the road.
The floorplan is spacious with three slide-outs - opposing slides in the living space create a large open living space with facing sleeper sofas and a large galley with Corian countertops throughout the unit. The galley features a large refrigerator/freezer, a microwave/convection oven with a stovetop with 3-burners beneath the microwave, and a large double kitchen sink with matching covers.
The cabinetry is in good condition and looks great - the desk/dining table can be utilized as a workstation if you want to make this your office on the road.
The bathroom is a split plan with the toilet and bathroom sink on one side; the shower is across the hallway - privacy doors allow you to create a full-width bathroom area.
Entering the rear bedroom, you find the king-sized bed with storage beneath it, a second lavatory, large mirrored sliding doors to a large closet that has a full-size safe, and in the corner, a clothes washer/dryer combo unit with storage space overhead. There is a dresser with a TV at the foot of the bed.
The unit is in good condition mechanically and has been inspected recently by the current owner. Everything is in good working order per the owner. The unit has some cosmetic issues that need to be addressed - the headliner has been torn in several places and wall decorative tiles have been removed.
The unit has a new windshield and cranks and runs great.
