The GM 8.1 engine was originally designed to run in excess of 250,000 miles in Class A motor home chassis before needing an overhaul or major repairs. This single owner has maintained this vehicle with an open wallet - there are many, many years of usage left in her!
GM produced the Duramax diesel to compete with the gas 8.1 Vortec engine. The 8.1 outperformed the Duramax for about 4 years. With additional development, the Duramax finally outperformed the 8.1 in 2006. GM stopped using the 8.1 in its truck applications and took it out of production in 2009.
This coach has two 18" opposing slides, never any smoking or pets, or leaks.
Equipped with air horns, front and rear sway bars, HWH leveling jacks, SnapPad integrated jack pads, 200w solar panels, DC/AC inverter 600-watt. There is an upgraded ceiling and LED lighting, powered sunvisors and 2 defroster fans.
The coach is in great condition and properly maintained by the only owner it has had.
The galley includes a 4 door refrigerator/freezer and an ice maker/convection oven and a 3 burner gas stove with a whole house water filtration system.
In the bedroom is a Sleep number Queen bed, ceiling fan, and TV with a CD/DVR. There is also an extra sink and dressing area in the bedroom.
You'll love the day/night shades throughout the coach.
In the living room, there is UltraLeather seating and the entertainment package includes satellite antenna, sirius radio, main tv with home theater surround sound.
The seller's favorite 3 features of this coach are the Engine, the Galley and the Sleep Number Bed.
The seller advises that the engine runs perfectly and uses 1 quart oil between oil changes every 5,000 miles.
This coach has been used a lot for traveling around the country for 6 months every year during the past 12 years touring the entire US and Canada- and it has not been abused and has been well cared for by it's only owner.
Recently replaced new circuit boards for refrigerator, water heater and generator. Replaced refrigerator cooling unit and NEW AC with heat pump, new mufflers and exhaust, new windshield, new batteries.
Seller plans to replace 2 front tires in 2021 and the Patio Awning Wind Sensor is not working.
