This is a very special Class A RV. It was built for the Federal Government as a Mobile Emergency Command Center. It was equipped with tens of thousands of dollars in electronics, everything from communication to surveillance and monitoring. A 40' telescoping vertical pole/arm on the roof contains a PTZ night vision camera. It has an antenna array for every possible communication from cell, VHF, to shortwave and ham. Multiple sirens, and loud speakers all cover the roof.
The current owner bought it from the government and has used it recreationally. This RV isn't a fancy luxurious dazzling unit, it is however perfect for someone who would like to make the interior their own, perfect for sporting events, watching the game from a parking lot in AC on the big screen. It's also perfect for a prepper/survivalist who wants all the electronics for an emergency situation at their disposal.
Everything about this Patriot was built for reliability, performance, and extended sustainability. It has larger then normal tanks, including waste, water, and propane. With (2) 7.5 KW Onan gensets, (which were recently rebuilt) power is never in doubt. With the marriage of a diesel Caterpillar 3126 Turbo to an Allison MH30 transmission, it can work all day under any road conditions with no concerns. Even when towing a car, 0-60 performance is exceptional at under 30 seconds.
This RV has the best power to weight ratio, quality, value, torque and reliability.
Mechanically this RV is perfect, Cosmetically it has normal wear and tear. both corners of the rear bumper have minor fiberglass damage. The interior has several places where the headliner has been damaged or has come un-glued. The floor is solid and was covered with a black rubber matting for high traffic. All of the extra command center electronics that are still in the RV were working, but the current owner has not used them. It does have a KVH sat TV system as well, but would need a receiver.
